Bic Tran is an independent feature film producer and founded Grasswood Media in 2015. Her films include Cat Run 2, Frank & Cindy, starring Renee Russo, Oliver Platt, Johnny Simmons & Jane Levy and Kid Cannabis, starring Kenny Wormald, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Ron Perlman, and John C. McGinley.
Prior to producing, Ms. Tran was an agent in ICM’s Independent and International Film division. Motion pictures Ms. Tran packaged and sold include Crazy Heart, starring Jeff Bridges and Maggie Gyllenhaal, which won two Academy Awards in 2010, After.Life, starring Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson and Justin Long, The Joneses, starring David Duchovny, Demi Moore and Amber Heard and Unthinkable, starring Michael Sheen and Samuel L. Jackson.
Prior to ICM, Ms. Tran was Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at Lakeshore Entertainment, where she developed and packaged numerous films including Underworld, Crank, Wicker Park, The Mothman Prophecies, Autumn in New York, The Next Best Thing and Arlington Road.
Ms. Tran partnered with Adam to launch Good Eats LA in 2018.
